It can be hard not to like Belgian Ales. When it comes down to it, they’re pretty damn awesome.
So, what’s so awesome about this one? Let us start with the pour. It poured a deep ruby red. Pretty easy to see through for its dark color. The aroma was full of hints of alcohol and lots of fruit. The flavoring was so complex that we found something new after each sip. I tasted some raisins at first. Then there were cherries. Then toffee? Too much fun.
Grab a bottle of this and share it with some good friends. Strike that, grab a few bottles. This will be one of those beers that you’ll go through quickly.
