Stone. Is. Awesome. They’re a great brewery that really embodies everything we at BeerKnob like to see.

So, naturally, we get very excited when we try a new beer from them. I was walking down BevMo when I saw this being showed off so proudly. I had to have it. With their mascot looking ready to surf, I thought at first this was a summer beer. While far from what you’d expect, you’ll still love to drink it any time this year. It’s a pitch black strong ale that’ll make a man out of you. Many of our newer tasters complained it tasted of a campfire. After I shut them up, I realized that this must be a tie in to the surfing. Because of this, I spared their lives. Sometimes we’re merciful.
