Batch 19
Batch 19
There was a time in America’s history where beer was against the law. Sounds horrifying yes? Prohibition did a great job of putting a huge block in the road of beer’s evolution. Once the 18th Amendment was lifted again, it was as if we had to start from scratch.
Batch 19 is a beer that represents what we had before pre-prohibition. Miller-Coors is having a fun time doing this. As of now they are only selling it on tap in a select batch of speakeasy bars across the country. Even the box they sent to me seemed like it was straight from 1919 (the year the beer is modeled after). It does a great job in taste as well. Bold and hoppy. Makes me put myself back in time after a hard days work. Pretty sure I’d be ordering one of these.
