Tower IPA
Tower IPA
Another day, another beer from Karl Strauss. We received this one recently from one of those “Craft Brewery” mix packs. Let’s just say most of those beers were far from “craft” beers.
I enjoyed this beer. It was quite a decent IPA. The balance between hops and malt was pretty well done. The malt hits you first and seems fill you taste buds with something to think about. The hops come after, and do a good job of switching things up. Don’t expect any power house hops here, but it’s a good IPA to start people out on. We all know that most people have a hard time trying 100+ IBU beers the first time. Starting them with something like Tower IPA is a good way to make the transition just a little bit easier.
