Even though we are not supposed to, we all find trouble in following the saying “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” It’s hard though. Some covers are just that damn awesome. Others on the other hand can be down right awful.

Take this beer for example. Not a horrible label. It just had absolutely no appeal to me at all. Because of this, this has been stuck in the back of my fridge for a while. Finally it was all we had left for a tasting. First thoughts? I instantly wished I wouldn’t have discriminated, and tried this further. This beer was quite tasty. I’ll even go out of my way to say scrumptious. Ya, you can even quote me on that. It was a great Belgian Ale. The malt is what won me over. It brought flavors that had me raising my glass over and over again.
