I thought the sophisticated couch pattern would be a great contrast to this red neck-esque type of beer. Even though it’s trying to be a “premium” lager, this brew falls short in many different ways.
This one tasted heavily of malt. The balance was sadly just not there. Feel wise, it was decently grainy. After the first pour, the carbonation seemed to go down pretty significantly. The aroma was pretty boring. Smelled of corn, just like you’d find in a typical American macro-brewed beer. The head diminished quickly, and the lack of lacing on the glass left much to be desired. Come on, who doesn’t like a great pair of legs on their mug? It clearly makes the entire experience a step above the rest (yes, horrible pun intended).
