Pike Monk’s Uncle
Pike Monk's Uncle
This one was pretty tasty. Was it flipping fantastic? No. But I’m happy to announce it as this week’s BOTW.
The appearance to me was of most interest. The head was very frothy. The pour was a bit cloudy, and of a darkish golden hue. Banana and coriander were quite clear in this brew. I wasn’t surprised. The scent of this gave plenty of foreshadowing of this to the taste. The mouth-feel was pretty grainy, but luckily not too much.
Enough of my rambling. Do the guys at Pike a compliment, and pick one of these up. I think it was interesting enough in order to raise a few eyebrows here and there. We all know beer tastes better when we raise our eyebrows. Right?
